About the speakers
Dr. Shengzu Wang, Managing Director – Global Head of Asset Management, Haitong International Securities Group
Shengzu Wang, PhD, CFA, is the Global Head of Asset Management of Haitong International Securities Group Limited (“HTISG”) and serves as a responsible officer of Haitong International Asset Management (HK) Limited and Haitong International Investment Managers Limited. Dr. Wang has extensive experience in public services and the financial sector in the last two decades. Before joining HTISG, he was the Co-head of Investment Strategy Group Asia at Goldman Sachs, responsible for China and EM Asia macro strategies and tactical asset allocation. Prior to that, he was a Senior Economist at Barclays covering Mainland China and Hong Kong. Dr. Wang started his career as an economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where he worked on a number of IMF surveillance and lending programs covering advanced and EM economies in Asia Pacific, Africa, and Europe. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Economics from McGill University, and an M.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen).
Sunny Jiang, Head of Fixed Income Team – Haitong International Asset Management
Sunny Jiang currently works in Haitong International Asset Management as a Senior Portfolio Manager and has more than 10 years of investment experience. Mr. Jiang joined Haitong International Asset Management in 2015 and is responsible for fixed income investments focusing on Asian dollar bond and RMB bond markets. He manages the Haitong Asian High Yield Fund, the Haitong Global RMB Income Fund, the Haitong Global Bond Fund, the Tabula Haitong Asia ex-Japan High Yield Corp USD Bond ESG UCITS ETF (“TAHY”) and other mandates. Under his management, the Haitong Core Accumulation Fund (“CAF”) and the Haitong Age 65 Plus Fund (“A65”) ranked 1st in their category in Lipper Ranking’s one-year return in 2017, 2020 & 2021. The CAF and A65 funds were also awarded the “Consistent Performer - MPF Scheme Rating and Awards” by MPF Ratings in 2021 & 2022. Mr. Jiang obtained a MSc. in Finance (2014) and holds a BA (2010) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
